Bob Dylan and Martin Scorsese Reunite

Streaming giant Netflix has many upcoming projects, which also include documentaries. One such documentary that has caught everyone’s attention is the documentary based on Bob Dylan’s iconic, star-studded Rolling Thunder Reveu tour which took place between 1975-1976. Martin Scorsese, who was said to be a good friend of Dylan’s,  helmed the tour. The documentary is going to chronicle Dylan and his famous friends back in 1975. It is part concert movie as well and is all set to drop later this year. It has been given the title Rolling Thunder Reveu: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese.

Scorsese has previously made a film about Dylan in 2005 titled No Direction Home: Bob Dylan, which followed Dylan’s “going electric” period circa 1965-1966. A source told Variety.com, "There's a reason the word 'story' appears in the title.”

Netflix also released an official thumbnail description for the film, writing, "'Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese' captures the troubled spirit of America in 1975 and the joyous music that Dylan performed during the fall of that year. Part documentary, part concert film, part fever dream, ‘Rolling Thunder' is a one of a kind experience, from master filmmaker Martin Scorsese."

Dylan has been interviewed for the doc, which in any other case would be normal but Dylan is rarely seen off-camera, let alone on. So this is quite a surprise for fans.
