Channing Tatum And Jenna Dewan Have Called It Quits

Everyone’s favorite couple in Hollywood, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, have officially split up. The former couple first met when they filmed the 2006 dance flick, “Step Up” and started dating shortly after. They then got hitched in 2009. They also have a young daughter together named Everly, who will turn 5 in May. The couple, both 35, released a joint statement on their respective Instagram pages, clearing up that there are “no secrets nor salicious events” that led to their split. They stated, "We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple," the pair said. "We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now.”

Fans sensed trouble in paradise when Dewan Tatum attended the annual Vanity Fair Oscars after-party solo, but she diffused the tension by telling ET at the event that her husband at the time was on daddy duty and was “happy to have a night off.” But then. In February, she opened up to Health about people thinking her marriage was perfect, saying instead that they worked hard to keep it going. “When people say you guys have such a perfect life, I want to scream and tell them no one’s perfect,” she said. “I think there are such things as great fits. It is a great fit as long as you are growing together, and I think up until this point we’ve really grown together. Even if one starts to grow, the other catches up and vice versa.”

They still seem to love each other and the divorce is a mutual one. We for one are glad it wasn’t a messy one, leaving them heartbroken and bitter. Tatum is currently hosting NBC’s “World Of Dance” while Tatum is set to voice the role of Migo in the upcoming animated film, “Smallfoot.”
