The Hublot Big Bang MP-11

Black has always been a universally loved color due to the sleek and neat look it gives. Looking like it was molded in the darkness for Batman himself, this timepiece aces the all black aesthetics perfectly. There is also a transparent pure sapphire version which is beautiful in its own way, but there is more than just that which makes this watch a must-have. The new Hublot Big Bang MP-11 boasts of unique movements, materials and machining, with 7 series-coupled barrels, which were interestingly inspired by a race engine, providing a groundbreaking power reserve of 2 weeks.

Coupled to the hour and minute display through a special helical worm gear which takes power from the horizontally oriented barrels to the vertically oriented mechanism, this engine will leave you stunned. To get visual symmetry with the helical gearing, the balanced wheel is strategically located on the dial side, while a motor-race inspired electric Torx stylus is present as well to wind it with but it can also be done by hand.

Coming back to the design, the two versions include a crystal clear, pure sapphire beauty and the classic black MP-11 is made a bit more special because it brings 3D Carbon to the world of watches. Coming with a polymer matrix reinforced by a 3D weave, these beautiful devices are supported by a complex architecture, showing off unique facets and reflections on the case. A machined sapphire stone with convexity that flows over the barrels adds to the intricate beauty of the timepiece.      Courtesy: Luxatic
