Rana and Gunashekar Join Hands For ‘Hiranyakashipu’

Actor Rana Daggubati and director Gunashekar are all set to join hands one more time after Rudramadevi in 2015. The film titled as ‘Hiranyakashipu’ started pre-production work 3 years ago and reportedly, will be produced by ace producer Suresh Daggubati.

According to the Puranic scriptures of Hinduism, Hiranyakashipu earned the boon from Lord Brahma to live, eternally. However, in the course of time he became arrogant and misused his powers, subjecting his citizens to cruelty and hardship. He is finally slayed by Lord Vishnu, who takes the Narasimha avatar.

While the film based on the demon-king has us all excited, Rana Daggubati also has other interesting projects in the pipeline, including Housefull 4 and a couple of multilingual films like Haathi Mere Saathi and Madai Thirandhu, 1945-Nitasha Silesh
