Shah Rukh Khan's latest film "Zero" had tanked at the box office, but it is chosen as the closing film among the list of five Indian films to be screened at the Beijing International Film Festival. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will attend the event.
This prestigious film festival will be held between April 13 and April 20th. Along with "Zero", director Satyajit Ray's film Pather Panchali will also be screened. For this film festival, Shah Rukh will be accompanied by ace filmmaker Kabir Khan.
When it comes to Hindi film, some of the profit comes from China, as it has a large population, who watch these movies. A few Indian films like “"Bajrangi Bhaijaan", "Hindi Medium" and “Dangal" have become a huge hit. The latest one to collect quite a bit of money in China is Radhika Apte and Ayushman Khurrana's "Andhadhun".
